Big Smiles

Ryland is getting cuter and cuter each day. Is he smiling? Or is he whining because he wants his Momma? Or does he want the camera because he has to have his hands all over anything that is shiny and pretty and being used by someone else? Hmm...you'll never know, will you?

Sleepover Time

Emmett's baby brother is born! So, we had a sleepover.

We ate popcorn and watched a movie.

The next morning when we woke up we made a sign for Emmett's brother, Nathaniel Zinn.

We played in the yard and had a jolly good time.

We even went to Kids' Day at the Waterfront. It was cool that we got free balloons, but a bit overwhelming.
After watching some kids dance and sing we walked up the big hill to the Farmer's Market. That was much more fun!

All in all we had a great time together. Adalee and Emmett got to snuggle together while trying to go to sleep and share stories of what it's like to be the "big" sibling. Who better to introduce Emmett to the world of little brothers then Adalee herself. Afterall, they are "best buddies".

PIZZA PARTY!

Adalee loves to make pizza. This March when we were stuck inside but wanted so badly to get out, we decided we needed a hobby. Pizza making became a favorite pastime.

First you invite some of your favorite pals over to play.

Then you kneed the dough.

Make sure you spread the dough out thin. Try pinching a piece off for a small taste.

You add some sauce. (We like tomato sauce the best.)

Be sure to giggle while your spreading the sauce.

Before you put it in the oven, add cheese and toppings of your choice. When it comes out of the oven with the cheese all melted, eat until your heart's content. Bon Appetit.

Sandbox Playing

Ryland and Adalee have been having a lot of fun playing in the backyard. From finging ants to planting sunflowers to swinging high and low to digging in the ground, out days are filled to the max.

We are getting cuter everyday...

...and to learning how to be brother and sister that interact and learn how to conquer the world together.

I love my children, and they love each other.

LIFE IS GOOD!

Ryland Turns ONE!

What a fun day I have had! All my family and some of my friends joined me to celebrate my first birthday. Grandmom made me a maple cake with yummy icing, Adalee opened all my presents and I ate dirt for the first time. What else could a little guy such as myself ask for?

By the way, the cake was yummy.

Easter Fun

Adalee and her cousin Xavier have a blast dressing up and celebrating Easter. Once a year everyone gathers at Nana's and Poppop's house for pure fun. Ready for the sun, Adalee and Xavier spend some time enjoying the outdoors while the rest of the family watches TV. poo-poo on them.

I can balance Easter Eggs, can you? A trick my Uncle Brett taught me. I think next year I'll have to teach the Easter Bunny.

Mom and Kids have a blast hanging out on Nana's favorite spot...the back porch. Don't we all look so nice?
