Last year we omitted Jingle Bells from our nightly routine because it was March and we were tired of hearing it. This year, fortunately, Jingle Bells hasn't been the top of the list of most requested songs. Adalee had forgotten about it until we pulled out our musical instruments and she decided to serenade her brother. He loved it. Now, Ryland will be asking for Jingle Bells. If Adalee is willing to sing it to him, we won't protest!

- Our family is a happy one. We play, dance, sing and make funny faces all the time. On any given Saturday you can find us making pancakes, listening to the radio and playing dress up. We love to go on walks downtown and around the woods. Adalee likes to find little trinkets to take home with her and put in her "Nature box". Ryland likes to be carried in the Ergo. Snug up against Mommy or Daddy is how Adalee and Ryland seem to like it best. On many afternoons, our friends come over to our house and surprise us with dinner or a good story. Mommy and Daddy love reading books. Some of our favorite books are Today I feel Silly By Jamie Lee Curtis and I'm in Charge of Celebrations by Byrd Baylor. Mommy picks books out of the library and Adalee looks at them over and over again. Mostly, our family is a happy one.
